We wanted to share with you the ~1@BODYURL[id=1SLGcurl546]@ of the  Judge’s Ruling on Greenidge’s appeal of its Title V Air Permit Renewal Denial by the DEC. It’s mostly good news- the Judge deemed that Greenidge’s operations are inconsistent with the climate law, and that Greenidge did not provide sufficient evidence to justify its operations as a crypto facility- nor did they offer any evidence that it could mitigate its impact on climate. The Judge also ruled that there are three issues left to adjudicate.

They have one month to appeal- which we expect they’ll do- the longer they drag this out, the longer they can continue operating and polluting our environment.

We will continue to meet with our legal experts and keep working to shut this facility down.
