Urgent: We need All Hands On Deck Monday 6/27 11:30 Geneva

Seneca Lake Guardian has been working tirelessly to protect the Finger Lakes and beyond, and our efforts have resulted in our state legislature passing a bill to pause crypto mining in fossil fuel burning plants while the DEC studies the impacts.  This does not affect the Greenidge facility along Seneca Lake, however, and we need to get this across the finish line. That's where you come in:

Kathy Hocul, Which will it be? Money for a few or Climate future for all?

Please take an hour of your time to join us at the Gazebo in front of the Finger Lakes Welcome Center in Geneva on Monday June 27th at 11:30 am. We'll be holding a press conference and rally urging Governor Hochul to stop delaying the signing of the bill into law and to deny Greenidge's Title V Air Permit Renewal. We need YOU there, and please bring 100 of your friends.

We're also seeking participation from young people.  Bring your children.  ***If you know of a young person who would be willing to speak at the rally, please let us know!***  This is their future we're fighting for, after all.

It is critically important that we get everyone out to this important event. The Finger Lakes and our climate depends on taking this across the finish line.

Please, please, please- commit to coming, and please share widely. We seriously need you:

PS: Here's something you can do THIS WEEK: Call Governor Hochul at: 877-235-6537 and urge her to deny Greenidge's permit and sign the moratorium bill into law.

Thank you!!!

Take a moment to let us know you are coming
